Stay In Paris With An Eiffel Tower View – Yes You Can!

UPDATED FEB 2020. What a dream. That’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think of my stay at this Airbnb. I wanted to find somewhere to stay in Paris with an Eiffel Tower view because it was a long time dream of mine. A dream heavily influenced by Sex And The City and photos of Beyonce which made it seem like the ultimate girly bucket list travel experience. The prices for a room with a view, however… well let’s just say that you kind of need a Kardashian budget to be able to experience it. Or so I thought. I scoured Airbnb until I found the perfect place that didn’t cost a million bucks and I’m sharing it here today because it needs to be on your bucket list too.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

This listing has since been removed from Airbnb and at present is no longer available.

I am keeping this post up because I hope it can inspire you to give another one in the area a try. There are similar apartments available on Airbnb. The location of this one was Rue St Dominique so try searching around there.

If you prefer hotels, try one of these:

stay in Paris with an Eiffel Tower view

It’s possible to stay in Paris with an Eiffel Tower view without spending a million dollars & so worth it.

Room with a view of the Eiffel Tower

I have to (embarrassingly) admit that I shrieked way too loud when I saw the view of the Eiffel Tower from the lounge room.

Like way too loud.

When you look out of the lounge room window, the iconic tower is so close that it’s practically in the room with you.

You can wake up to it, eat breakfast with it, and even fall asleep to the sparkly tower lights piercing the night sky because the view extends to the bedroom as well.

It’s pure magic and you really can’t beat the view.

What’s included in the apartment

You don’t just get a room with a view, you get an entire apartment.

I actually think this would be the perfect place for a girl’s trip because you could split the costs and share the rooms – there are 4 beds in the 3 bedroom apartment (1 queen bed and 3 single beds). 2 of the rooms have a view of the Eiffel Tower.

It also has 2 bathrooms, jacuzzi tub, washing machine, unlimited Wi-Fi, vintage decor, elevator access, a TV and Paris guidebooks to help you plan your stay.

It’s everything you need for a home away from home.

The elevator is really small, I’m talking really small as in squeezing two people in there. If you have a big backpack or suitcase, you may need to split the group and take it in turns or take the stairs.

The host, Francesco, who you will liaise with when you make your booking, is quick to respond to messages and incredibly helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions.

Nearby sights

Naturally, being so close to the Eiffel Tower means that you are close to a lot of the sights in Paris.

Here’s a guide to some of the big sights in Paris. I have added the walking times because walking around Paris is quite pleasant.

The Metro is a handy and efficient system to get around while you are in Paris as well. The closest station to this AirBnb is École Militaire station.

Eiffel Tower – 9-minute walk

Notre Dame – 50-minute walk or 30 minutes on the Metro

Louvre Museum – 40-minute walk or 20 minutes on the Metro

Arc de Triomphe – 30-minute walk or 15 minutes on the Metro

Paris Catacombs – 50-minute walk or 25 minutes on the Metro

In the street where the apartment is located, and this is my favorite thing about it besides the view, it has an authentic Parisian feel.

It doesn’t feel like you are in a tourist-heavy place. Instead, people are going about their normal day to day life around you. The street has a grocery store and there is even a school a couple of streets over. Imagine going to school near the Eiffel Tower?!

Is it worth staying near the Eiffel Tower?

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Paris. They seem to either love it or hate it.

For me, I absolutely LOVED it. I think staying here was a huge part of my love for Paris.

It added magic to the trip and was truly a dream come true. It was everything I had ever imagined (but never thought I’d be able to experience). Without this Airbnb, I wouldn’t have been able to live out this dream since the hotel rooms with amazing views are so expensive.

I think if you are going to be visiting Paris, one of the most iconic cities in the world, you need to enjoy an extraordinary travel experience.

Life is meant to be enjoyed after all, right?
